Mouni Roy is all set to tie the knot in 2022 two to her businessman boyfriend Suraj Nambiar. The news of her wedding has been confirmed by a cousin of hers from her hometown Cooch Behar in West Bengal while speaking to a local newspaper.

According to an India Today report, Mouni and Dubai-based Sooraj Nambiar will tie the knot in January 2022. The couple has been dating for some time now and Mouni’s family formally met Suraj at her good friend Mandira Bedi’s residence last year and it was reported then that the families had got together to set a wedding date.

While Mouni prefers to keep her private life away from the limelight, the actress who recently turned 36 on September 28 will reportedly either tie the knot in Dubai or Italy. The wedding destination may be international but apparently, a function in Cooch Behar has also been planned by the family according to Vidyut Roysarkar, her cousin from her hometown. He also confirmed that his family will be attending the wedding.

Mouni Roy’s father was superintendent in the town’s municipality department while Mouni’s mother was a school teacher who has now retired. The actress spent her childhood years in the town.

The actress celebrated her birthday in Goa recently and shared pictures from her quaint poolside celebrations. On the work front, Mouni will be seen next in Brahmastra which is headlined by Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The film is yet to get a release date after the re-opening of cinemas.
