Mouni Roy Opens Up About Playing The Villain In Brahmastra Says Its Was Difficult To Show Rage In Front Of Amitabh Bachchan

Mouni Roy has a young but flourishing career in Bollywood and what more could the actress possibly have asked than to work with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in her very third film in Bollywood? Mouni Roy is playing the antagonist in Ayan Mukherji magnum opus Brahmastra which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead along with Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Dimple Kapadia.

Brahmastra is still under works and the makers are yet to announce a released ate for the film and Mouni in the meanwhile is busy promoting her upcoming project Made In China in which she stars opposite Rajkummar Rao. During the promotions of the movie, Mouni spoke a bit about her negative role in Brahmastra and said it wasn’t easy and she has to do a lot of preparation for the part.

Speaking to DNA India about the same the actress said, “As a villain, you have to obviously show fury and enmity towards them. That was extremely tough because I have looked up to Amitabhji as a hero ever since my teenage years. Not only was I performing in front of him but also had to show rage. For this, I had to prepare myself a lot! It was hard but now I really look forward to seeing it on the screen. The audience will see me in a new avatar.”

Made In China releases in theatres on 25 October.
