Mr. Lele: Bhumi Pednekar Joins Vicky Kaushal And Kiara Advani For The Film ; Read Deets

It has been years since Mr. Lele was announced with a first look poster that had gotten everyone super excited. Varun Dhawan was seen stripping down to his underwear for this one. The film saw many changes ever since- Kiara Advani, who was supposed to play the leading lady, stepped down and Janhvi Kapoor filled in her shoes. Then Bhumi Pednekar also joined the cast. However, the film was put on hold indefinitely after Varun walked out of the project. But, it is now being reported that Vicky Kaushal would play the male lead and the film has been revived. Reports also suggested Kiara will play the leading lady! Now, Bhumi too seems to have come on-board with the film.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Bhumi has been cast in the film. A source was quoted by the portal saying, “It’s an exciting project bringing three young talents of Bollywood together. Bhumi has loved the way her character is written and hence, got back to the film yet again. Vicky too is looking forward to slip into the comic space with the film. It’s a one-of-its-kind comic thriller, and the team is all excited to start shooting very soon. Vicky’s character has the Maharashtrian shades to it and whereas the details of Bhumi and Kiara’s track have been kept under wraps.”

Interestingly, as has been mentioned earlier, Bhumi was also a part of the original cast with Varun and Janhvi. We are looking forward to this project that is boasting of having strong female characters with edgy shades.
