Mumbai Rains: Rakul Preet Singh Stuck At The Airport, Randeep Hooda's Flight Diverted After The City Gets Shut Down

Heavy, incessant rain has paralysed Mumbai and its neighborhood. Since Monday, Mumbai has received the heaviest rain in a decade and the weather department has warned of heavy downpour in Mumbai, Palghar, Thane and Raigad in the hours ahead. With many flights cancelled and diverted flights have been diverted travel plans of some Bollywood stars are also affected.

Earlier in the day, Sonam Kapoor tweeted asking if the Bombay Municipal Corporation and the Mumbai police if the airport remains open after a public holiday was declared by the state government. 

Rakul Preet Singh replied to Sonam Kapoor’s tweet about the airport status and tweeted, “No flights have taken off since last night .. m stuck at the airport.” The main runway is closed due to heavy air traffic congestion in Mumbai.
