My Fears Pushed Me Into Academia And Performing Arts – Rockstar Actress Sanjana Sanghi

Actress Sanjana Sanghi made her acting debut with the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar in the year 2011. She was recently invited to be a speaker at the TED Talks Ahmedabad where she spoke about how the thought of growing up and abandoning the nurturing walls of her school scared her. She revealed, she had a preconceived notion of adulthood and she also said that she used to wonder what if the path she chose for herself proved to be mundane for her and what if she started disliking it.

The actress ruminated about her school days and said that it was fear that used to push her to do what she did. Quipped she, “Somewhere it was the fear that pushed me into various deep dives, be it into academia, performing arts, public speaking, social service or even my friendships.” The pretty girl very beautiful spoke about her school days and poured her heart to an audience which was all ears.

She further went on to disclose that she was a very shy and underconfident girl. She said that she got to know she loved performing arts because of a few unforeseen events and influences of “unexpected forces.” She finally concluded her speech by motivating the students to push themselves to their maximum limit because she believes if she can do it, anyone can.

Miss Sanghi had earlier spoken on the TEDx platform in IIT Bhubaneshwar earlier, plus she is also one of the youngest actors in the Bollywood industry to have spoken on the platform. The actress is currently shooting for her big debut in Bollywood as the lead actress with her film Dil Bechara which is slated to release in November.
