Nach Baliye 9: Wild Card Entries Pooja Banerjee And Husband Sandeep Sejwal Opt Out Of The Show, Know The Reason

As if the unending drama and controversies were not enough, these days Nach Baliye 9 is keeping us hooked by keeping us guessing about the wild card entries. While Urvashi Dholakia-Anuj Sachdeva and Madhurima Tuli-Vishal Aditya Singh are back on the show, looks like Kasautii Zindagii Kay’s Nivedita a.k.a. Pooja Banerjee and Sandeep Sejwal are opting out of the show after their splendid debut performance.

The decision has been taken keeping in mind the serious injury that Pooja incurred during the rehearsals. Talking about the incident, Sandeep informed, “In the act, Pooja had to stand on my shoulders and fall back, with our choreographer catching her. However, she slipped, lost her balance and fell in the front from above 10 feet from the ground. She landed on her hands.” He further added, “The impact was such that she hurt both her hands — the joint of her right wrist is fractured, while the left elbow bone is chipped. Pooja has also sprained a ligament in her left leg. She is in a cast and the doctors are waiting for the swelling to subside before they perform the surgery, which is scheduled to take place today. She will be hospitalised for at least a week. Since the show is about couples, I don’t think we will be able to continue. So, we are opting out.”

Pooja also interacted with media and revealed her condition. She said, “I am on painkillers and can barely move. I am going to be in the hospital for a few days and that’s why Sandeep and I will not be able to perform for the dance reality show.”

We are surely going to miss Pooja and Sandeep on the show and hope Pooja will get well soon.
