    Narcotics Control Bureau Detains Samuel Miranda After Raiding His Home; Rhea Chakraborty's Home Searched Too

    The Narcotics Control Bureau probing the drug angle in the Sushant Singh Rajput case had already made a big move by detaining two drug peddlers and now following up on it raids were conducted at Rhea Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda’s homes in Mumbai on Friday morning. Rhea’s brother Showik and Miranda’s names had cropped up during NCB’s interrogation of the two alleged peddlers  Zaid Vilatra and Basit Parihar and thus the raid.

    Two teams of NCB official dressed ordinarily reached Rhea’s and Miranda’s homes following protocol under the NDPC Act. At about 9:30 this morning Samuel Miranda who was the house manager at Sushant’s Bandra apartment was detained by a six member team of NCB after the raid aided by the Mumbai Police outside.

    This is the first big detention of one of the key people accused in Sushant’s death case. Showik Chakraborty on the other hand has been summoned by the NCB for further questioning.

    The Narcotics Control Bureau got involved in the case after the Enforcement Directorate tipped them off with evidence of possible drug links in the case. Ever since several chats between Sushant’s flatmates have come to fore suggesting that they were involved with drugs.

    Several chats of Rhea’s brother Showik have also come to light where he can be seen arranging for these narcotic substances.
