Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise was a big shock for the entire nation. While his fans and family were heartbroken, the film industry was devastated. Amongst others, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut decided to take a stand for the late actor and requested for a CBI probe in his suicide case. She also made some huge revelations about how the industry allegedly treats outsiders and called out the movie mafia and Bollywood biggies once again. The bold personality that she is, Kangana has not shied away from speaking her mind in her attempts to get Sushant justice.

Well in a recent chat with India Today, veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah took a subtle dig at Kangana. Reacting to the coverage of Sushant’s death probe which has become a movement of sorts, the actor stated, “It's sickening. It is absolutely sickening. I have not followed it. I felt deeply grieved when the young man died. I did not know him but he had a bright future and it was a waste of a life. But I did not bother to follow the nonsense that's being spouted by a whole lot of people. Every person who has any little frustration in his mind, in his heart, about the commercial industry, has been vomiting it out to the press. It is absolutely disgusting. I mean, keep these complaints to yourself, no one is interested.”

He went on to add, “No one is interested in the opinions of some half educated starlet who decides to take it upon herself to you know, get justice for Sushant. If there is justice that needs to be done, I think we need to have faith in the process of the law and if it is none of our business I think we should we should not concern ourselves with it.”

Talking about the ‘outsiders vs insiders’ debate, Shah said that he does not understand the nonsense that’s going on. He stated, “I mean, it's a whole lot of rubbish and we should be put an end to this, its bulls***. Why would not I, who have had a secure happy life as an actor, encourage my son to go into the same profession?” The actor added that nepotism gets you to a certain point, after which you're on your own. If you don't have it in you to keep going, no amount of contacts can help you. He said that the only way that one can survive in the industry is by learning the job because contacts can get you so far and no further. Naseeruddin also said that the ‘movie mafia’ is all a concoction of certain imaginative minds.
