Nawazuddin Siddiqui Lashes Out At Celebs Sharing Vacay Pictures In These Trying Times, Says "Kuch Toh Sharm Karo"

The country is witnessing a period of crisis. Not just are coronavirus cases constantly on the rise, but it has also reached the maximum number of infections on a single day in the world. In fact, healthcare is crumbling and the nation is gasping for breath as states are tackling a severe shortage of oxygen. Amidst this crisis, many celebs are taking off for a vacay. That's not all-they have even been posting pictures. This has enraged Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Talking to Spotboye, Nawazuddin has lashed out at such celebs and said, “These entertainment celebrities posting vacation pictures at a time when the world is reeling under the worst recession. ...Logon ke pass khana nahin hai aur aap paise phenk rahe ho . Kuch toh sharm karo.”

Nawaz further added that this has become a ''tamasha' and said, “But what else will they talk about? Acting? They will run out of steam in two minutes. In logon ne, Maldives ko tamasaha bana rakha hai. I don’t know what their arrangement is with the tourism industry. But for the sake of humanity, please keep these vacations to yourself. There is suffering everywhere. The cases of COVID are multiplying. Have a heart. Please don’t taunt those who are suffering. As a community, we entertainers in India need to grow up. I am in my home town Budhana with my family. That’s my Maldives.”

Earlier, author Sobha De also lashed out at celebs posting vacay pictures. Actor Amit Sadh has deactivated his social media account and also said that he feels 'disgusted at how rich people are behaving as if COVID never happened'!
