Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Brother Shamas' Bail Plea Rejected After Former's Estranged Wife Aaliya Accused Him Of Molestation

It was at the beginning of the week that Nawazuddin Siddiqui's estranged wife, Aaliya had recorded her statement against Nawaz and four of his family members, accusing them of outraging her modesty. She had names his brother, Shamas, in the case. Now we have learnt that Shamas's bail plea has been rejected.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Shamas had applied for anticipatory bail. It was then rejected by the Dindoshi Sessions Court. Aaliya's legal representative, Yash Vyas told the portal, "Shamasuddin’s anticipatory bail application has been rejected at Dindoshi sessions court on the grounds that his custodial interrogation is required as per the facts of the case. We will let the law take its due course. We have approached the police and informed them that his ABA has been rejected."

In her FIR, Aaliya had stated that Shamas would use derogatory language towards her in the absence of her husband. She also accused him of stalking her. Earlier, one of Nawazuddin's nieces had accused another brother, Minaz, of molesting her. She said that the family was aware of it, but had asked her to solve it by themselves and stay quiet. Aaliya revealed that it was true, while the family denied all the charges.
