NCB Satisfied With Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan's Answers After Probe, Actresses To Get A Clean Chit?

The Bollywood drug probe done by the NCB has brought out several big names in the open. After Rhea Chakraborty took the names of Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan and later WhatsApp chats were accessed, alleged 'drug-chats' were revealed. That’s when Deepika Padukone and her manager Karishma Prakash’s [who is an employee of talent management company KWAN] name cropped up in the case. Actress Shraddha Kapoor who worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in Chhichhore was also among the big names that surfaced after the deceased actor's manager Jaya Saha was questioned.

The NCB had summoned all the four of them for interrogation. And the latest is the NCB has given all the four of them ‘almost’ clean chits.

It was during the interrogations on Saturday that Karishma and Deepika told the NCB officials, they had used the words 'maal', 'weed', 'hash' and 'doob' as code names for various kinds of cigarettes “for fun”.

Both of them said that they referred to low quality cigarettes as ‘maal’, slim and better-quality ones as ‘hash’ and ‘weed’ and called the thick ones ‘doobs’. The Narcotics Control Bureau asked the same questions to both of them in separate rooms. An official told Times of India, “We were satisfied as both corroborated the codes.”
