    Neetu Kapoor remembered her husband late Rishi Kapoor’s last wishes on his 69th birthday and recalled how the actor wanted to see son Ranbir Kapoor getting married. She also revealed the actor’s second unfilled wish which was to see his home Krishna Raj remodeled into three separate apartments for Ranbir, Riddhima and himself.

    While Ranbir Kapoor’s fans want to see him tie the knot soon and there have been rumours of his engagement and girlfriend Alia Bhatt on more than one occasion. Neetu Kapoor while talking to The Quint revealed how Rishi Kapoor imagined the whole thing saying, “One was to see Ranbir wearing a turban with an emerald and a broach in the Peshawari tradition–astride a ghodi (horse), on his wedding day. He was totally sentimental about this, he’d keep saying, ‘Kisi din, mujhe hamare bete ko ghodi pe sawaar dekhna hai (Someday I want to see our son on a horse)’.”

    The actress while speaking about the actor’s second wish revealed that before the pandemic imposed restrictions, Rishi Kapoor would visit the construction site every day to how the work on the house was progressing. The remodeling of the Krishna Raj is now being completed under the supervision of Neetu and Ranbir who are often seen visiting the construction site.

    Rishi Kapoor would have turned 69 on September 4. He died in April 2020 aged 67 after a two-year battle with Leukemia.
