Neliima Azeem Reveals How Different Shahid And Ishaan Are; Calls Daughter-In-Law Mira ‘Balanced And Loving’

There are many sibling duos in Tinsel Town and it is always fun to watch them come together. Well, one of the most adored duos is definitely Shahid Kapoor and his younger brother Ishaan Khatter. They won hearts when they came together for Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan and seeing their social media posts together is always a delight. Ishaan looks up to Shahid and is also incredibly close to the latter’s wife Mira Rajput and their children Zain and Misha.

In a recent chat with ETimes, their mother and actress Neliima Azeem shared that they are quite similar but also have a few differences in their personalities. She revealed, “Shahid is an introvert and Ishaan is an extrovert. In Ishaan's company, Shahid becomes flamboyant. Shahid loves cricket, while Ishaan likes football, bouldering, and trekking. Shahid was a prankster at school and became quiet only after he became an instructor at Shiamak Davar's classes. There are times when they sit and discuss books, games, and cinema and its fun listening to them. But there are similarities too between Ishaan and Shahid.”

Talking about her daughter-in-law, Neliima shared that Shahid was very shy when he first told his mother about Mira. She recalled, “I met Mira immediately and found her to be a girl who was not just pretty and glamorous, but someone who was very balanced and loving. I liked her instantly. I am friends with Mira's mom too.” Neliima further stated that her son has become happier and more relaxed after his marriage. Well, not just Mira but Neliima is also extremely fond of her grandchildren. She shared, “I forget everything else when I am with them. We set up our own world. Ishaan is a deewana (very fond) of his nephew and niece.”

    The perfect star family!
