Netizen Accuses Anurag Kashyap Of Rolling A Joint Asks Mumbai Police To Probe, Filmmaker Too Extends Invitation In Reply

Anurag Kashyap has developed somewhat of a thick skin when it comes to dealing with trolls on social media. Once again the filmmaker was targeted by a user who accused him of rolling a joint in a video and wanted the Mumbai Police to probe.

The user shared a clip wherein Anurag is in a video call and can be seen rolling a joint but it wasn’t the illegal drug (marijuana) that the user claimed it could be. The user wrote “Hello @MumbaiPolice ,will you please look into this ?Here @anuragkashyap72 is rolling a joint which is illegal in India.”

The filmmaker, on the other hand, was undeterred and in fact, invited the police for a probe. “Yes please for once @MumbaiPolice look into it. Once and for all let’s make it clear that I roll tobacco and please thoroughly investigate for the satisfaction of the bhakts and the trolls ..”

While smoking itself is not a wise thing to do during these times, Anurag certainly has aptly left no more room for doubts.

On the work front his film Bamfaad marking Paresh Rawal’s son Aditya Rawal’s debut alongside Shalini Pandey is now streaming on Zee 5. The trailer had received widespread attention just days before and hopefully the film will too.
