Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have always been known to celebrate each other’s successes in a big way. Nick has been PC’s biggest cheerleader and even before they got married he always knew how to prioritize her ambitions as an actor. As revealed by the actress herself, Nick took care of their wedding preparations along with her mom Madhu Chopra while she was busy with the shoot of her film The Sky Is Pink and also shed a tear when he finally saw the film himself. Having heard all of this from his wife, reading Nick’s review of The Sky Is Pink didn’t surprise us in the least.

The American singer who himself has been keeping busy with the Jonas Brothers’ Happiness Begins tour, took time out to urge audiences to watch The Sky Is Pink in theatres. Nick shared a poster of the film and wrote, “This film touched my heart in so many ways. The story is bold and beautiful and told perfectly by this incredible cast and by @shonalibose_’s direction. @priyankachopra I am so proud of your work as both an actor and producer in this film. You made me smile, laugh and cry and I know you are going to impact so many people’s lives with this film. I love you so much. Congrats to the entire The Sky Is Pink cast, crew and creative team. You should be very proud. Everyone make sure to go see this movie!”

Priyanka was recently in India doing a round of promotions for the film which marks her comeback to Bollywood movies after 3 years and is also her project as a Hindi film producer. The actress, however, wants to ensure that the movie is well received globally and went back to New York to promote the film in the U.S. as well.

The Sky Is Pink directed by Shonali Bose is the real-life story of teenage motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary who narrates the love story of her parents spanning over 25 years while she was diagnosed with a terminal case of Pulmonary Fibrosis.

The film releases worldwide on 11 October.
