Rhea Chakraborty is seeing resounding support from Bollywood after she was taken into custody by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday afternoon and later denied bail. Now, film producer and actor Nikhil Dwivedi has stated that when all of this is over he would like to work with her.

In a tweet, he stated, “Rhea I didn't kno u. I dn't kno wht kind of person u r. May b u r as bad as u r being made out to b. May b u r not. Wht I do kno is tht how its all played out for u is unfair, unlawful &not how civilised countries behave. Whn all ths is over we wud like to work wth u @Tweet2Rhea

The actress has been remanded by the NCB in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case where she is facing charges of being a part of a drug syndicate and financing and procuring drugs. Not long ago the actress had emotionally mentioned in an interview that the ‘witch hunt’ against her in the media has virtually finished her career as an actress.

Nikhil is now receiving flak from netizens who are against Rhea for offering her work. Clarifying his stand the filmmaker said, “In case she doesn’t reform then I shall take my words back. But the media & public needs to stop passing judgment. My support is for #Innocentuntilprovenguilty & not for #RheaChakraborty”.

Several other stars have now broken their silence in the case including filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Taapsee Pannu, Swara Bhasker, Kareena Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar and several others.
