Nikki Tamboli calls Rubina Dilaik her emotional pillar; ‘I want her as my sister forever’

Nikki Tamboli and Rubina Dilaik didn’t exactly hit it off during their first few weeks in the Bigg Boss 14 house. In fact, some of their arguments turned out to be the biggest highlights of the season. However, when Nikki returned to the show as a wild card after being eliminated, Abhinav Shukla and Rubina welcomed her with open arms. The three of them became good friends and by the end of the season, Rubina and Nikki were inseparable. In fact, Rubina even gave Nikki the ticket to finale after winning the task herself.

In a recent chat with ETimes, Nikki shared that their bond is pure and nothing has changed after BB. They speak every few days over the phone and discuss each other’s life. Nikki was quoted saying, “The past few months have been tough for me and Rubina has stood by me throughout. I contracted COVID-19 and after that, I lost my brother. I had a difficult time on Khatron Ke Khiladi (season 11) too, but she was always there for me. Rubina is my emotional pillar, I feel my life is half empty without her. Just the way I am a pillar to my parents, Rubina and Abhinav are my strength today. I feel good to be around her, she’s very warm and kind towards me.”

She further shared that after her mom, the only time she felt that kind of warmth and love was from Rubina. Nikki explained, “She’s very protective, supportive and has always guided me. I feel like we share a blood relation. I want her as my sister forever.” Well, there are very few friendships in life which stay strong till the very end. We hope Nikki and Rubina’s bond is one of them!
