Nikki Tamboli: ‘Sidharth Shukla's loss has left me broken; he was someone who stuck by me’

When Nikki Tamboli entered the Bigg Boss 14 house, she had planned to play for herself, by herself. But by the end of the show, she had managed to make some really good friends and memories for life. One of the first friends that she found in the BB house was Toofani senior Sidharth Shukla, who was a part of the season for the first two weeks. Sidharth saw a spark in Nikki and supported her as a mentor. Well, earlier this month when the actor took his last breath after a cardiac arrest, Nikki was amongst the first to reach his residence to pay her last respects.

In a recent interview with Spotboye, Nikki shared that she is still unable to process the fact that Sidharth Shukla is not amongst us anymore. She was quoted saying, “Last few months have been difficult for me and Sidharth's loss has left me broken. He was someone who stuck by me in the house and our bond was unspoken. I did not meet him every day or speak to him every day but I always knew he had my back and I had his. It has been difficult to fathom that he isn't any more.”

Back in May this year, Nikki lost her brother Jatin. In a post on social media, the actress had revealed that he had been suffering from health issues since the past many years and had contracted coronavirus, tuberculosis and pneumonia in the last few months. It has been a tough year indeed for Nikki. We wish her strength and peace!
