Not Aditya Roy Kapur But Sidharth Malhotra To Reunite With Shraddha Kapoor For Malang 2?

Mohit Suri recently finished working on the first draft of Malang 2, a sequel to his hit romantic action thriller Malang. Featuring an ensemble cast of talented actors including Aditya Roy Kapur, Disha Patani, Anil Kapoor and Kunal Kemmu, the film not only won hearts with its kickass story-line and powerful performances, but also did decent business at the ticket windows. While earlier reports suggested that Shraddha Kapoor will replace Disha in the sequel, latest buzz is that Aditya will also be bidding adieu to the thriller series.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the makers of Malang 2 want a fresh on-screen pairing this time and are very clear about it. While Disha and Aditya might be on-board for cameos, they will not be reprising their roles. So who will be replacing Aditya in Malang 2? Well, a source was quoted saying, “Sidharth (Malhotra) is on top of their list. They are waiting for the lockdown to get over to pitch it to him. Mohit has just finished the script and since he has a good relationship with Sid, he will take it forward from here.”

While we will miss Aditya and Disha’s sizzling chemistry in part two, we are extremely excited for Sidharth, Shraddha and Mohit’s reunion. It will be fun to see the ‘three musketeers’ join forces again, 6 years after they collaborated for Ek Villain.
