Not Just Ajay Devgn's Bhuj: The Pride Of India, Abhishek's Big Bull Also To Get A Direct OTT Release On Disney+ Hotstar?

Nearly three months with no films releasing in theatres filmmakers are slowly warming up to the idea of releasing their films directly online. Recently we heard that Ajay Devgn might soon be joining the bandwagon by selling rights to his film Bhuj: The Pride Of India but now we hear that not just the war action drama but also his Abhishek Bachchan starrer production Big Bull might also be a part of the deal.

Ajay Devgn is reportedly in talks with Disney+ Hotstar for a direct OTT release of these two films with the platform offering the actor-producer a multi-million rupees deal. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj: The Pride Of India has some patchwork remaining while Big Bull is in the post-production stages. The makers are eyeing the deal since there is no clarity when theaters might re-open.

Bhuj The Pride of India is war drama with the Indo-Pak war of 1971 at its backdrop and was originally slated to release on Independence Day 2020. Big Bull with Abhishek on the other hand is a financial crime drama that was eyeing an October release.

The decision on the deal is still pending according to the source quoted by the report.
