Not Just Her Family, Deepika Padukone Also Tested Positive For Covid-19?

The news is certainly depressing for Deepika Padukone fans. The actress’s family in Bengaluru has been battling Covid-19 for the past 10 days. While Deepika’s mom Ujjala and sister Anisha are quarantined at home, her father and legendary badminton player Prakash Padukone is hospitalized. Now, reports suggest that not just her family but Deepika too has tested positive for Covid-19.

The Piku actress had just a few days ago shared helpline numbers for organizations ensuring the mental wellbeing of people in these trying times. In the post, the actress had hinted at herself and her family having contracted the disease. “As millions of us (me and my family included) strive to stay afloat, let us not forget that our emotional well-being in this current crisis, is equally important,” she had written.

Now, a Pinkvilla report has a source claiming that the actress too in fact is battling Covid-19 with her family.

Deepika and husband Ranveer Singh had jetted off to Bengaluru in mid-April to visit her family there. This was right ahead of the lockdown imposed in Maharashtra. The actress, however, unlike other celebrities who contracted the disease did not share any statement about the same on social media.

As for her family, Deepika’s father is stable in the hospital and is likely to get discharged in a few days.
