NOTA actress Yashika Aannand critical after meeting with car accident, her friend dies on the spot

Former Bigg Boss Tamil contestant and actor Yashika Aannand met with a serious accident on Saturday night, killing one of her friends travelling with her in the car while also injuring two others. The accident took place close to 1 AM and the NOTA actress is now critical and receiving treatment in a private hospital in Chennai according to a Times of India report.

The car accident took place near Mahabalipuram in Tamil Nadu on the East Coast Road. The car which the actress was allegedly driving hit the median strip and fell into a pit at the side of the road. Other commuters on the road came to their rescue after the accident.

Yashika’s friend Valli Chetty Bhavani died on the spot according to the publication. The body of the deceased was sent for an autopsy at a hospital-based in Chengalpet hospital.

Meanwhile, the police have reportedly registered a case against the Kadamaiyai Sei actress while they are investigating if the actress was intoxicated while driving.

Yashika Aannand is 21 and made her debut in the Tamil film industry in 2016 with the film Kavalai Vendam. She has also done a handful of TV shows and appeared on Bigg Boss Tamil 2 in 2018 as a contestant.
