Nushrratt Bharuccha remembers a paranormal incident she experienced at a hotel; says ‘There was something not normal there’

Bollywood actress Nushrratt Bharuccha is currently busy riding high on the success of her latest release Chhorii. The horror film, which premiered on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video last week, is a remake of the 2017 Marathi film Lapachhapi. Nushrratt’s performance has won the audience over while the film has been lauded for being a gritty, gripping story. Well, in a recent interview the actress was asked if she believes in ghosts. Nushrratt revealed that she believes things that she can’t see, touch or feel exist around her.

In her chat with TOI, Nushrratt went on to talk about a paranormal incident she experienced when she was staying in a Delhi hotel while travelling for work. She remembered, “There was a little wardrobe area to hang my clothes and a table to keep the suitcase. I had placed my suitcase open on the table but when I woke up in the morning, it wasn’t like that anymore. The suitcase was down in the same position and the clothes were out on the floor which cannot happen on its own. If it falls from the table, it will fall on its face, and not be in the same position with all the clothes out.”

The actress was there only for a night, all alone. She doesn’t sleepwalk and is sure nobody else came to the room when she was sleeping. Nushrratt explained, “There was something not normal there. Of course, I ran for my life and exited the hotel in 30 seconds. It was scary, even when my staff came and checked it. They just said, ‘Ma'am, we should leave’.”

Now that definitely sent a chill down our spine! Have you ever encountered something like this?
