Nushrratt Bharuccha Shot Chhori In The Same Studio As Ram Setu Without Any COVID Cases, Says 'You Succeed In Some, Don’t In Others'

Nushrrat Bharuccha had been shooting back-to-back for the last few months. The actress, who is now waiting for the release of her next, Ajeeb Daastaans, has also shot for Chhori and was shooting for Ram Setu alongside Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez when COVID struck on the sets. Akshay Kumar tested positive, and it was said that 45 members of the team also did. Nushrratt and Jacqueline quickly isolated themselves and thankfully tested negative. Now, Nushrratt has opened up about the experience.

Talking to Mid Day, she revealed that she has shot Chhori in the same studio for 28 days without a single case. She said, “It is scary when you go to a set that has so many people, but the production house [Abundantia Entertainment] took complete care of testing and sanitisation. Before kicking off work on Ram Setu, I shot another film, Chhori, with the studio, which was shot over 28 days and had zero cases. So, you succeed in some, and don’t in others. But this is the second wave, and things were out of our hands. [When you’re facing the camera], you have to forget that you are in the middle of a pandemic. Otherwise, you can’t perform. You have to trust your team.”

Well, actors indeed are the most vulnerable of the lot. Now, the Maharastra government has halted shoot for 15 days till 1st May amidst rising number of COVID cases.
