Om: The Battle Within- Jackie Shroff Joins The Cast, To Play Aditya Roy Kapur's Father?

Aditya Roy Kapur is all set to gift fans an action-packed film this year. We are talking about Om: The Battle Within, which would be helmed by Ahmed Khan. This is the same film for which the actor had supposedly let go of Do Villain. He has been paired up opposite Sanjana Sanghi in this one. The cast now has an addition and it is none other than Jackie Shroff.

Now, reports are doing the rounds that Jackie Shroff would essay the role of Aditya Roy Kapur's father in the film. A source told Pinkvilla, “Jackie Shroff plays Aditya Roy Kapur’s father in the film and has major scenes with his on-screen son. He began shooting for the movie last month and is expected to wrap up by March. His equation with Aditya in the film is one to look forward to.” Interestingly, in Ahmed Khan's previous film, Baaghi 3, he played a father too, that time to his real-life son Tiger Shroff.

Well, the cast had already spiked our interest and we are eagerly waiting to see how the film would turn out to be. While Aditya has just Om releasing in 2021, Jackie Shroff would be seen in quite a few other films as well, including Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai where he will play Salman Khan's senior and Disha Patani's elder brother, and Sooryavanshi, where he would reportedly play the main villain of Rohit Shetty's cop universe.
