One Man Industry Akshay Kumar Registers An Unbelievable Feat, Has Each Of His Four Releases In 2019 Amongst Top-10 Weekend Openers

As 2019 remains fresh in our memories it is noteworthy that Akshay Kumar has managed a remarkable feat in the year. He is the only superstar in the current times to have registered as many as four of his releases in a single calendar year to feature amongst the Top-10 weekend openers. While Mission Mangal, Kesari and Housefull 4 had scored big as well, now add Good Newwz to the list.

The film opened well on Friday and then showed good momentum building for it during rest of the weekend. Good jumps were always on the cards for the film and that has resulted in a healthy weekend for the Akshay Kumar starrer.

As can be seen, Akshay Kumar is pretty much living up to his reputation of being a one man industry. For starters, he is the only actor to consistently churn out three to four releases a year. Secondly, he is keeping audience's interest intact in his frequent arrivals. Thirdly, he is seeing constantly good opening at the box office too. Moreover, to have them all emerge as best enough so as to feature in the Top-10 is stuff that dreams are made of.

Between the 6th and the 10th spot, Akshay Kumar is a one man show already with four of out of five releases belonging to him, Total Dhamaal being the only exception. Now 2020 is already looking quite exciting with Sooryavanshi, Laxmmi Bomb, Prithviraj and Bachchan Pandey set to release in each of the four quarters of the year.
