One Mic Stand: Sunny Leone says dating Russell Peters was 'the worst thing ever': "We messed it up, I'm still mad"

It is no new news for anyone who follows Bollywood closely, or is a Sunny Leone fan that the actress had dated comedian Russell Peters for quite a few years. The two were great friends and started dating. However, they parted ways and Sunny found love in Daniel Webers, with whom she is now married and has three children. Now, during her stint as a stand-up comedian with One Mic Stand, Sunny has opened up about her relationship with Russell.

Talking to her mentor Neeti Palta host Sapan Verma, Sunny said, “I dated a comedian but it was like, for a hot second. It wasn’t for a very long time.” She added, “We messed it up. I mean, we were friends for years, why the hell would we start dating? It was the worst thing ever that we could have ever done and I am still mad to this day, because we would be such good friends still.”

Neeti asked if she made to any of his jokes and the actress replied, “I have heard that I am in a couple of his jokes.”'

Russell Peters had earlier revealed that he and Sunny Leone had dated for five and a half years. He had said, "It was a wonderful time. She’s a real sweetheart, you know.”
