    The Academy Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominees for the 92nd Oscar Awards on Monday 13 January 2020. While the Oscars have been mired in controversy due to a lack of diversity in its previous choices mainly excluding people of color and women and this year they have made some interesting choices, which will probably not please everyone, but the year's nominees have earned their place.
