Paatal Lok Trailer: Jaideep Ahlawat’s Powerful Performance And The Gripping Story Line Make It A Must-Watch

With the coronavirus lockdown being extended, citizens of our country are solely dependent on OTT platforms and old shows which are being rerun on the television for entertainment. Well much to our delight, Amazon Prime is back with yet another interesting web series to keep us occupied. Backed by Anushka Sharma’s production banner Clean Slate Films, Paatal Lok is a much-awaited investigative thriller series which is slated to release on 15^th May.

Created by Sudip Sharma, the writer of super hits such as Udta Punjab and NH10, Paatal Lok features an ensemble cast of talented actors including Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Gul Panag and Abhishek Banerjee. The trailer of the series was shared by the makers today and the intereting story-line will leave you hooked. It follows the life of a cop who tries to unravel the mystery behind an assassination attempt of a prime-time journalist by four suspects. The dark case leads him to Paatal Lok, which is inspired by the traditional concepts of Svarga (heaven), Dharti (earth) and Paatal (underworld).

Jaideep Ahlawat has wowed the audience many times before with his acting in films like Raazi, Gangs of Wasseypur and Baaghi 3. Well, this time he beautifully portrays the character of a cop and it sure is a delight to watch him play the lead role. The powerful performances and the gritty, gripping trailer will definitely leave you excited for Paatal Lok.
