Pagalpanti Trailer: The John Abraham Starrer Is A Mad Yet Confusing Reminder Of Welcome, Golmaal, Housefull In A Mix

John Abraham starrer Pagalpanti trailer is out now and those who had been craving an Anees Bazmee comedy would know what to expect of this one. One look at the trailer and you will be certain that the film will totally live up to the title with all the madness that ensues but what you really might not be able to grasp is where the story is taking you or what this madness really means.

Also starring in its huge mega star cast it has Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D’cruz, Urvashi Rautela, Kriti Kharbanda, Anil Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla. Now, we know that we can definitely expect a great comedy with this star cast in the picture and the trailer of Pagalpanti already opens asking you not to apply your brains but you can help but question so much madness for what?

John Abraham and Anil Kapoor are blissfully in the Welcome mode the backdrop music from that film is generously used in the backdrop of Pagalpanti too.

Pulkit Samrat looks like a more comical version from Fukrey while Arshad Warsi looks like he has been pulled out from Golmaal while still in his character.

The tidbits of the story that one can gather is that John Abraham is a guy out of luck, Pulkit is in love with Kriti Kharbanda who is Saurabh Shukla’s daughter while Anil Kapoor is her uncle. Pulkit, Arshad and John are a friendly trio trying to get rich but where and how the rest of the characters including Ilean D’cruz jump in from we really have no idea.

Urvashi Rautela is introduced out of nowhere and the trailer goes into a full on horror comedy mode. We don’t know who owes money to whom, why John, Arshad and Pulkit are flying in trucks and running we don’t know and the madness is no doubt unlimited.

The trailer is no doubt mad but how it brings together all these tangents is a big question that only the film can answer. The dialogues are sometimes too long but whacky and overall the trailer is fast-moving but so confusing.
