Pagalpanti’s Tum Par Hum Hai Atke Song: John And Ileana Fail To Recreate The Magic Of The 90s Song In This Remix!

Think about the magical duo- Kumar Sanu and Kavitha Krishnamurthy. Then think of the quirky music by Himesh Reshammiya and we had the Tum Ho Hatke song from Salman Khan and Kajol starrer Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. And now, since we are in 2019 and the trend of remixes is in no mood to die down soon, we have the remix of the same song, this time sung by Mika Singh and Neha Kakkar and the music composed by none other than Tanishk Bagchi. And needless to say, it can’t match upto the quirk that the original despite trying quite hard.

The picturisation of the song is just about okay. Ileana and John romance each other in this song that has a few deliberate weird dance steps. Ileana’s lip syncing has a few slips here and there but well, who is going to get so minute about it?

The song, at many places would remoind you of Hawa Hawa from Mubarakaan, but that had the contagious energy of Arjun Kapoor, that’s missing in this one.
