Pankaj Kapur On Shahid Feeling Nervous About Sharing Frame With Him: "If Someone Has To Be Nervous It Should Be Me, Not Him"

Pankaj Kapur has been one of the most prolific actors in the country. In the industry for over 45 years, several actors look up to him. In fact, his son, Shahid Kapoor, had revealed that he gets really nervous sharing the screen space with his dad. He had also shared the same in a tweet.

Recently, we got in touch with Pankaj Kapur and asked him what he had to say about it. We asked if he could sense any nervousness in Shahid while sharing screen with him, he said, "He is just being polite, he is being a good boy. He is very confident, very competent actor who carries himself extremely well in the sets. He is a thorough professional, he is well-prepared. If someone has to be nervous it should be me, not him. I have age behind me, but I can be nervous working with a big star, who has a number of successful films behind him. I am a tiny little so-called ‘character actor’ who has been working for maybe 40 years. Years actually don’t count, because somebody can come and sweep you off your feet just with the first performance."
