Pankaj Tripathi Talks About The Project That Earned Him His Biggest Pay Cheque

Actor Pankaj Tripathi is having a great year professionally especially with the arrival of the second season of his web series Mirzapur 2 where he plays Kaleen Bahiya. The actor’s career graph has been has been seeing a spectacular growth especially in the past few years and he is already wanted by every filmmaker out there.

Given the rise and rise of Pankaj Tripathi in Bollywood when the actor was asked about the project that earned him his highest pay cheque on No Filter Neha, he said, "This is a most difficult question... Currently, I feel like the set I'm working on now, that one... and the last film that I shot for, that paid me a lot. With each film that I do, I keep breaking the record of the last film in terms of money."

Pankaj Tripathi also recalled a funny anecdote from his days in his hometown where he danced to an item song in a local stage play and was told he would leave the women in films behind if he ever found his way to Mumbai.

The Stree actor also recalled days of struggle where he was never even allowed to even audition for roles and was sent away from the door saying ‘not fit’. Pankaj managed to make his break through with his role in Gangs of Wasseypur in 2012 and has never looked back since.
