Pareeksha Director Prakash Jha Raises Concerns For The Underprivileged As Schools Take Classes Online

Prakash Jha’s latest film Pareeksha talks about the injustices meted out to the underprivileged when it comes to anything. The difference between the rich and the poor is inordinate. And the film is a mirror to all the atrocities that they face especially when some big problem plagues the country. In an interview with Mid-Day, Prakash Jha stated, "Our system favours those who already have everything; power and money to access the best education."

Jha’s film is based on real events from Bihar. However, this isn’t the first time that his films have showcased the reality. In his previous offerings as well, the problems that rural India is ridden with have found a place in his films.
