Parineeti Chopra Reveals Why Saina And The Girl On The Train Are The Toughest Films She’s Done

One of the most talented actresses of Bollywood, the incredible Parineeti Chopra was all set to wow the audience once again with her much-awaited film Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, opposite Arjun Kapoor. Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the black comedy was slated to hit theatres on 20th March, but the film’s release date had to be pushed due to the coronavirus lockdown. Other than Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Parineeti will also be seen shining on the big screen in The Girl on the Train and Saina.

Talking about why the two projects were the toughest films she has done so far in a chat with TOI, the actress shared, “I’ve literally given my heart and soul to them and I feel like I am more a producer of those films than an actress. The Girl On The Train sealed in my mind the kind of actress I want to be. I think all my films before The Girl On The Train were a personal experiment to find what I wanted to do, and with this film, I found it. I was obsessed with being those two characters in both the films, I was obsessed with performing.” Pari went on to add that the films gave her clarity on how she wants to select projects from here on.

While Saina is based on the life of Badminton player Saina Nehwal, The Girl on the Train is a mystery thriller based on a novel of the same name written by Paula Hawkins.
