Parineeti Chopra Starrer Saina Nehwal Biopic To Release On March 26th?

Parineeti Chopra might take some time to gather all the feedback for her performance in the film, The Girl On The Train, which released just yesterday on Netflix. The actress played the protagonist in the film, an alcoholic suffering from amnesia who also undergoes emotional trauma and abusive relationship. But now, she might have yet another release in just a month.

We are talking about the Saina Nehwal biopic. The film, which traces the journey of the famous badminton player, would be helmed by Amole Gupte. It was earlier looking at a direct OTT release, but now it looks like the film might release directly in theatres. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the makers were contemplating a march 26th of April 9th release for the film and they have now gone ahead with the former date. A source was quoted by the portal saying, “A lot of factors were taken into consideration to reverse the decision and then decide on the release date. As things stand today, it’s set for a March 26 release in cinema halls across India. Producer, Bhushan Kumar, is now all set to unwind his line up extending to over 20 major films through the year, which begins with Mumbai Saga on March 19."

Well, an official confirmation is awaited, but we hope it turns out to be true.
