Pathan Director Siddharth Anand Gets Slapped By An Assistant On Sets Of The Shah Rukh Khan Starrer After A Huge Fight

Work on Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback vehicle Pathan is currently underway. Filmmaker Siddharth Anand and team are toiling hard to give the SRK fans a big scale entertainer they will cherish but delivering an exceptional film comes with its own burdens and stress. Recent reports suggest that a big fight broke out on the sets of Pathan ending in the filmmaker calling off the film’s schedule for the day.

The fight in question didn’t involve any of the cast members but was between Siddharth and one of his assistant directors. A Bollywood Hungama report claims that Siddharth who is running a pretty tight ship on the Pathan sets has a strict ‘no phones on set’ policy and lost his cool when an assistant failed to comply. The filmmaker is said to have confronted the assistant and an argument broke out, post which the shoot resumed as per usual.

Reportedly matter didn’t end there and the assistant went bad-mouthing the filmmaker around the set and when Siddharth apparently heard of this resulted in another scuffle between the two. A source of the portal claims that the filmmaker went straight ahead and slapped the assistant and to his shock was slapped right back.

As this fight resulted in huge chaos on set, the shoot for the day was called off and the assistant fired. The shoot resumed the very next day at the YRF Studios.
