Pathan: Shah Rukh Khan Enters Into A Profit Sharing Agreement With The Makers For The Film? Read Details...

The shoot of Pathan has begun in Mumbai and with the picture of Shah Rukh Khan in a new look entering Yash Raj Studios, fans and cinema lovers, in general, can hardly keep calm. This is a moment that fans had been waiting for almost three years since the superstar had decided to take a break after Zero. The film might release next year and it would also star Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Now, we have gotten an idea of how much King Khan is charging for the film.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the actor will opt for profit-sharing rather than taking home a stipulated amount. SRK is known for always doing that. This time, he has apparently signed the deal to take away 45% of the film's profit. A trade source said, "The superstar has entered into a 45 percent profit-sharing agreement with YRF, which means that for every Rs. 100 crore profit earned from the film, Shah Rukh Khan will make Rs. 45 crore rupees. The higher the profits, the higher will be his fees." Another source added that Shah Rukh is confident that the film will not just be his perfect comeback, but would also act as one of his biggest grossers.

It had been reported earlier that Deepika Padukone is charging Rs. 15 crores while John Abraham has been signed for Rs. 20 crore in the film. The official announcement of the film is yet to be made, but fans and their excitement are already skyrocketing!
