Pathan: Shah Rukh Khan's comeback film to release on Eid 2022?

There has been a huge hue and cry about Pathan. And why shouldn't there be. After all, this film would mark Shah Rukh Khan's comeback on the big screen after Zero and fans are eagerly waiting for its release. Bollywood insiders claimed that the film was set to release on Diwali this year, but the second wave of the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown deferred the release to 2022. Some portions of the shoot are still left and the cast- SRK along with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham have already begun the shoot. Now, looks like a new tentative release date is out.

This is a big film, and given the star cast, there is no doubt that this would be a festive release. Now, reports are claiming that the makers are eyeing to release the film on Eid 2022. A tabloid report suggested that while the current Mumbai schedule would last for another 2-3 weeks, the cast and crew would head off to Europe to shoot the remaining portion once they obtain the necessary permission. If everything goes as per plan, the film would be wrapped up by August.

We wonder if there would be a clash with Salman Khan if the film releases on Eid, since it is a given that the actor loves Eid for his films' release. Interestingly, Salman would be doing a cameo in Pathan, as his character Tiger.
