On the occasion of Narendra Modi’s birthday on 17 September, director and producer Karan Johar made one of his rare appearances on social media to extend greeting to the Prime Minister. The filmmaker who has been on the receiving end of a lot of trolls, threats and accusations on social media received a pleasant response from the PM and that surprised the Twitterverse like nothing else.

The Prime Minister ensured he replied to all the celebrities who wished him and also replied to Karan’s message saying, ‘Of course! Your passion towards cinema is adorable. Thank you for your wishes.’
