PM Narendra Modi Biopic Finally Gets A Release Date, Will Clash With Another Film!

Ever since its announcement, the PM Narendra Modi biopic has been shrouded in controversies. When Vivek Oberoi was chosen to play the titular character, people thought that the casting could have been better. Later, going by the trailer, it looked like a myopic view of the life of the politician. In fact, after reviewing the film, the Election Commission had put a hold on it saying that the sole motive of the film was to glorify a person and that the release of this film could change people’s mind before the elections.

With the trailer being taken off air and off the internet as well, people doubted that the film will ever be able to see the light of the day. But now it looks like the film is all set for a release, and it might even clash with another major Bollywood release.

The Election Commission had cleared the film for release after the elections. So, finally, the film is slated to release on 24 May 2019. The film will clash with Rajkumar Gupta’s India’s Most Wanted that has Arjun Kapoor in the lead and is about 5 unlikely heroes who set out to search for India’s Osama all alone.

PM Narendra Modi is supposed to release in 23 different languages. It stars Vivek Oberoi and he created a stir with 9 different looks portraying different phases in Modi’s life.
