Police Acquires CCTV Recordings Of Sushant 's Building
Bandra police is investigating Sushant Singh Rajput’s death from all possible angles to determine what led the 34-year-old actor to take the extreme step of taking his own life. The latest update on the investigation is that the police have now acquired the CCTV tapes of Sushant’s building to investigate.
ANI tweeted the details on the matter as shared by a police officer working on the case: “Police have taken in custody CCTV recordings of the building where Sushant Singh Rajput was staying. No CCTVs were installed at his house. Forensic report awaited: Abhishek Trimukhe DCP (Zone IX), Mumbai Police.”
30 people have so far been questioned in relation to the case including Sushant’s family, his team and celebs like Dil Bechara actress Sanjana Sanghi, Rhea Chakraborty, YRF casting director Shanoo Sharma and more recently filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Police is also said to have asked filmmaker Shekhar Kapur has also been asked to record his statement.
The final post-mortem report of the actor which was signed by five doctors claimed that there was no foul play in his death and stated the case of death to be ‘asphyxia due to hanging’.
Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14 in his apartment in Bandra. The actor’s last film Dil Bechara will release on Disney+ Hotstar on July 24. The trailer of the film was released on July 6.
