The final postmortem report of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been submitted to the Mumbai police after being verified a team of five doctors. The actor was found hanging in his sixth-floor apartment in Bandra on June 14.

According to India Today, the report mentions the actor’s cause of death as 'asphyxia due to hanging' making it a 'clear case of suicide with no other foul play’ also mentioning there were no signs of external injuries on his body and his nails were also clean.

The chemical analysis reports are awaited which the police have requested the Directorate of Forensic Science Services to be expedited.  The Mumbai police have also worked the angle of his death being linked to his former manager Disha Salian who died just a few days before him and mentioned that they just met once and their deaths don’t connect.

23 people have reportedly been investigated by the police on the matter with Sushant’s C.A. being the last who was questioned by the police on Wednesday. Besides Sushant’s three sisters and father, actress Rhea Chakraborty, Mukesh Chhabra, Disha's boss and Sushant’s business manager Uday Singh Gauri, the actor’s PR manager, his creative manger, a keysmith, his cook and others have also had their statements recorded.

Ruling out other theories the report also mentions that the late actor’s dog Fudge is alive and was in another room and the CCTV cameras of the building were working.

The police further stated that the websites that published such theories could be summoned for questioning on their sources.
