Pooja Bedi Reveals Mother Protima Bedi's Memoir Would Be Made Into A Web-Series Soon, Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Acquired Rights

Protima Bedi had been one of the best Odissi dancers that the nation had ever seen. She was also a fierce and a rebellious lady who followed her heart all through her life. She had been married to Kabir Bedi and was the mother to Pooja Bedi. On the occasion of Mother's Day, Pooja revealed that her mother's memoir would soon be turned to a series.

Talking to Peepingmoon, Pooja revealed that her mother's memoir would be adapted both into a series and a film. The right for the series have already been bought. She said, "Balaji has brought the rights of Timepass (the memoir) and we are making a series on her (Protima) life. Soon, something will be coming up on my mother’s life cinematically as well."

Timepass: The Memoirs Of Protima Bedi was penned by both Protima and daughter Pooja. It accounts for all the major events that had happened in her life- including her rebellious side and her family life,, her divorce with Kabir Bedi, and establishing Nrityagram, India's first dance village for Indian classical dancers and lastly taking up 'sanyas' before she passed away in an avalanche. It would be interesting to watch the life of such a prolific person unfold on screen, isn't it?
