Pooja Hedge Will Be The Leading Lady Opposite Salman Khan In Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali Confirms Sajid Nadiadwala

Salman Khan and Eid work like magic together at the box office, so much so that the fans would be disapoointed if Salman Khan doesn’t have a release on the festival in any year. Well, we can be rest assured for 2020 and 2021 as the actor has already announced his films on Eid for both years. While this year will be an action filled cop drama called Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai, being hemled by Prabhudeva, 2021 will see Salman Khan release a movie with a rather peculiar name, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

Now there is a big new update on the latter as producer Sajid Nadiadwala confirm that the leading lady in the film will be Pooja Hegde. The actress who made her debut opposite Hrithik Roshan in Mohenjo Daro and collaborated with Nadiadwala in Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 is now ready to work with Salman.

Talking about bringing Pooja on-board Sajid told Mumbai Mirror, "Having worked with Pooja in Housefull 4, we felt she was a perfect fit for this film. She has an amazing screen presence and will make for a good pair with Salman. They will bring freshness to the story."

Talking about the project after it was announced to the same publication, he had said, “I had started writing Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali even before the Kick sequel. It’s a film with a very different approach and we are sure the audience will love Salman in this avatar we have planned.”
