Raj Kundra’s alleged role in producing adult content which led to his arrest earlier this week has now opened up a can of worms. While the police call the businessman a ‘key conspirator’ in the case, actress and model Poonam Pandey opened up about the criminal case of theft and fraud she filed against Raj Kundra last year. She says collaborating with him professionally was ‘the biggest mistake’.

Poonam worked briefly in association with Kundra’s company Armsprime which creates apps for celebrities. She claimed that there was unauthorized usage of her content on their app even after she had terminated her contract with them. Poonam, who has her own app where she shares her films and content, claimed that even after repeated emails and even a threat to take legal action against the company they refused to remove the content.

The model tells ETimes, “When I signed an MOU with them, which lasted for a month, it became clear that they were cheating and were extremely unprofessional. I terminated my contract with immediate effect. Getting into a professional collaboration with these people was the biggest mistake I made in my life. They are frauds. My life became an open book. I went through another level of trauma. I cursed myself for sharing my passwords and credentials with their team. When we reached out to Raj’s team, we were told that we won’t be paid until I signed a contract with them and started working with them again. I flatly refused. How could I do it knowing that these guys hacked into my accounts and personal space?”

She reveals that she was personally approached by Raj Kundra later for an app called ‘Hotshots’, one which is under the police scanner now. “Shortly after, I was approached by Raj Kundra personally to be a part of another app — by the name of ‘HotShots’. It was 100% pure blackmail. It was like — Do this or suffer the consequences. On my refusal, my private mobile numbers were leaked on the internet on the aforementioned app,” says Poonam.

When she approached the Mumbai Police to file a complaint against Raj Kundra, he had exited from the company. As the police refused to file an FIR she approached the Bombay High Court with substantial proof and filed a criminal case against him. She says that while earlier she felt it was her mistake sharing credentials with Armsprime, she says it is now evident that the company cheats people.
