    Post Sidharth Malhotra’s Exit From Thadam Remake, Aditya Roy Kapur Roped In For His First Ever Double Role

    After winning hearts with his performance in Anurag Basu’s Ludo, Aditya Roy Kapur began gearing up for Ahmed Khan’s upcoming project Om: The Battle Within. Directed by Kapil Verma, the action film also stars Sanjana Sanghi, who made her debut last year with Dil Bechara. The first look blew us away and now fans are eagerly waiting for more news about the film. Well, while we wait for details of Om: The Battle Within, latest rumors suggest that Aditya has already signed his next!

    According to a report shared by Bollywood Hungama, Aditya has replaced Sidharth Malhotra in the remake of Thadam, which will mark his first ever double role. A source revealed, “Aditya Roy Kapur has been locked in to play the hero now. It's an action packed film which will have in double roles. This will also be Aditya's first double role ever. When Sid opted out, they were on the lookout for a good looking hero who's fantastic with action. Apart from Adi, Mrunal remains part of the cast.”

    The source went on to share that Aditya loved the script and the duality of the characters. He has given the team his dates and will begin shooting sometime this year with co-star Mrunal Thakur, soon after completing Om: The Battle Within. For the uninitiated, Sidharth politely walked out of the project because he had reservations after the script went through major changes in November.
