Prabhas-Saif Ali Khan Starrer Adipurush To Be Produced On A Lavish Budget Of Rs. 400 Crores?

Babhubali star Prabhas has yet another mega budget movie in his extravagant lineup of films. The film which will be an adaptation of Ramayan will see Parabhas in the avatar of Lord Ram and to make it all the more exciting Saif Ali Khan has been roped in as Lankesh in the project.

When looking the cast Om Raut is assembling for his magnum opus we can already guess that the scale of production of Adipurush is going to be huge. However, seeing the budget of the film might shoot your eyebrows right off your face.

A source tells Pinkvilla, "While many are slashing down budgets and cost of production, Om and Bhushan [Kumar] are dreaming big with Adipurush. It will be the biggest Indian film to release in theatres post Covid-19. It will have a lot of VFX work involved and a technique never seen before in Indian films. They are planning to mount it on a lavish scale and a whopping budget of Rs 350-400 crore is set just for the shoot and production of Adipurush."

Om Raut who is helming the project will be adapting the mythology to modern times. The filmmaker whose Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior was made on a lavish scale wants Adipurush to be visually stunning and grand and we are sure with a budget like that we are sure his dream project will become a stellar reality.
