Prabhas Starrer Radhe Shyam Shoot Called Off After Star's Make Up Man Tests Positive For Covid-19

Covid-19 is once again proving to be a big challenge for the entertainment industry as shoots get banned and theatres remain off-limits in many states. As the second wave cries havoc in the nation filmmakers are struggling to maintain schedules for their films due to restrictions imposed to contain the virus and also the threat it poses in places that still allow for shoots to continue.

Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam is the latest in the string of movies that have had to stop shooting. The romantic drama was all wrapped up and ready for post-production until the makers decided to re-shoot a few portions of the film in Hyderabad.

According to a Bollywood Hungama report they, however, could not proceed with the plan and had to suspend the re-shoot as Prabhas’ make-up man tested positive for Covid-19. A source close to the portal claims that the plan to re-shoot now remains suspended indefinitely.

The movie that also stars Pooja Hedge opposite the Bahubali actor is scheduled for a theatrical release in July this year. The pan Indian project which has been shot in the beautiful locales of Italy has fans excited to see Prabhas nail the act of a romantic hero.

Besides, Radhe Shyam the star ahs work on going on projects like Salaar and Adipurush. He also has in his kitty a film with director Nag Ashwin which will also star Deepika Padukone.
