Several reports suggested that he was dating his niece for some time now and they were planning to tie the knot soon. Turns out that the choreographer has already tied the knot and his wife is not his niece but his physiotherapist. According to a regional news portal, DT Tamil a source close to Prabhudeva has rubbished rumors of him dating his niece and in turn revealed that he is already married. "The latest reports are all baseless. Prabhu Deva got married in September and his wife is a physiotherapist and not his niece. They were seeing each other for quite some time now. She was treating him for his back injury and the wedding took place a couple of months ago. The couple is now living in Chennai."

The report also claims that Prabhu Deva got married at his residence in Mumbai in a rather low key ceremony. If indeed true, this is the filmmaker's second marriage. He was earlier married to Ramlatha in 1995 and they got divorced in 2011. They had three kids together one of whom passed away.

Prabhu Deva also hit headlines for dating Nayanthara after his divorce but the relationship fizzled away.
